It's hot...

So what do you do in the summertime? I think I remember a primary song with those words... but what we do in the summertime, here in AZ, is probably not primary song worthy.

We sweat..... yes, went grocery shopping with the boys yesterday. Wanted to get out of the house, and get them away from too much "screen" time. Too much TV, too many video games, and too much computer time.



I digress...

before leaving for the commissary, the thermometer read 105, hmm.. that's pretty hot. So, by the time we got there, shopped, came home, unloaded, and then put it all away.... it was hotter!

And, I don't want to hear from anyone back east... "but it's a dry heat". Dry heat, humid heat.... it's downright HOT!




We watch too much tv, we play too many video games, and we stay on the computer too long...... why? because it's air conditioned INSIDE, and not outside. Not that watching Good Luck Charlie on the Disney Channel is an awful show. Beating the boys at Wii's Just Dance 2 isn't too shabby at my old age, and the computer? Well... updating the blog a bit more often isn't a bad thing.



We sleep in..... nearly every morning! Which for me is nice, except my body is still on school schedule. I'm up every morning, whether I like it or not.. at 5am. But... after being up for awhile, I can go back to sleep, and I still beat the kids up most days. (except Kayli because she is a dedicated swimmer who attends practice at 5:40AM!!)



What else do we do? Oh yes... we complain that it's HOT!
